199      RESOLUTION TO RE-ORDER THE AGENDA

            None received.

200      PUBLIC DISCUSSION TIME

This did not take place due to the meeting being virtual.

201      APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL HELD ON 25th FEBRUARY 2020                     

To be approved at the next scheduled Council meeting.

202      MATTERS ARISING FROM THE ABOVE MINUTES:

203      PLAYGROUNDS

a)    Notices for playgrounds

Resolved that:

i)          notices, stating that the playgrounds are closed, following Government guidelines, be attached to the playground equipment in both Old Town and Pecket Well playgrounds.

ii)         the notice also be displayed on the Wadsworth Parish Council noticeboards, website, post office and be shared on the Old Town Facebook Group.

iii)         benches did not need to be taped up, as following advice from YLCA and local police, it was better to leave them open, allowing people to continue to exercise and therefore benefit in terms of mental health needs, as well as physical well-being.

206      URGENT MATTERS REQUIRING FUTURE MEETINGS BEFORE THE END OF LOCKDOWN

a)    Councillor Contact Details

Resolved that: a further notice giving contact details of four councillors, who can take calls, (Cllrs Davis, Drury, Kimber and Warren) and details of the Parish Council website be posted.

b)    Over Eighty Year Olds

It was noted that the Post Office had kindly contacted everyone on the list of people over 80, who received Christmas parcels to ensure they have sufficient support during the lockdown.

Resolved that: the Council thank the Post Office for its concern and work in relation to the above.

c)    Staffing

Resolved that: the contract and job description prepared by the Staffing Committee be emailed to Cllrs prior to the next meeting, for their consideration, and that a motion be placed on the next agenda recommending acceptance.
