140 PUBLIC DISCUSSION TIME
John Lynch, ex-Councillor thanked the Council for the presentation and engraved glassware.
141 APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL HELD ON 26th NOVEMBER 2019
It was noted that Cllr Bell declared a pecuniary interest in relation to item 120, not Cllr Fowler.
It was also noted that Cllr Drury’s declared pecuniary interest was in relation to item 129 g) not 129 d).
Resolved: that the above minutes with the above two amendments be approved as a true record.

a) Local Plan
Nothing to report.

144 CLERK’S REPORT
a) Reporting of dangerous dogs.
It was explained that if a resident or Cllr came across a dangerous dog, they should report this to Calderdale Council, using the main switchboard number.
b) Pecket Well Footpath between Ackroyd Lane and Keighley Road.
It was reported that CROWS had carried out the required work on the footpath.
c) Cars parking on verge at Ackroyd Lane.
It was reported that Together Housing had requested further information in relation to this issue.
d) It was reported that the Council printer was in need of replacement.
Resolved that:
i) The above report be received.
ii) Cllr Bradshaw provide information in relation to a new printer.
iii) A new printer be purchased.
145 FINANCIAL MATTERS
1) Items for payment:
a) Salaries £505.90
b) Allowance and reimbursement:
– computer allowance £20.00
– printing ink £60.70

Resolved that:
i) the above items be approved for payment.
ii) Spindle Tree Gardening Services be asked to carry out further work to the, Keighley bus, bus stop.

146 CORRESPONDENCE
a) Ex-Councillor: Letter of thanks.
b) Hebden Royd Town Council: Wood burning stove consultation update.
Resolved: that the above correspondence be received.

Resolved: that Wadsworth Parish Council supports this application.
2) Other Items:
a) Resolved: Re- request the reason for granting permission for 14 dwellings, 19/01340/RES Construction of fourteen dwellings, Crimsworth Dyeworks Midgehole Road Hebden Bridge Calderdale HX7 7AN
148 ROAD & FOOTPATH MATTERS
a) It was reported that the pavement was very slippery at the corner of Billy Lane and Ackroyd Lane.
Resolved: that this be reported to Calderdale.
149 ALLOTMENTS AND GARAGES
a) It was reported that a non- cultivation letter had been sent.
150 PLAYGROUNDS
a) To agree weekly Inspection regime.
Resolved that:
i) Cllr Kimber inspect Pecket Well Playground once a week for the following month.
ii) that Cllr Fowler inspect Old Town Playground once a week for the following month.
151 CLERK’S EXPENSES POLICY
A discussion took place in relation to this item.
Resolved that:
i) A staffing committee be formed.
ii) The committee consist of three members.
iii) That the following members serve on the committee:
Cllrs Bradshaw, Rivero and Warren.
iv) The committee have delegated powers for all staffing matters.
v) A meeting be arranged forthwith.
vi) The Clerk’s expenses policy be discussed at the first meeting.
152 MOTION: TO DECLARE A STATE OF EMERGENCY ON CLIMATE CHANGE
Wadsworth is reported to be the second biggest civil parish in England by land mass. Therefore, we recognise the parish council has a duty to identify and support any changes that can be brought about to reduce the effects of global warming.
Resolved: that this item be deferred to the January meeting.

a) It was reported that the last Ward Forum meeting was cancelled due to the election.
